Abstract:
A m ortar e lem ent ve rs ion for ro tated Q1 e lement is propo sed. The m orta r condition is on ly dependent on the deg rees of the freedom on subdoma ins in terfaces; the optim a l e rror estim a te is obta ined for the ro tated Q1 m ortar elem ent m ethod.
