Abstract:
Th is pap er reports them ethod and the resu lts of th e torus quan tizat ion in localmode reg ion for a system of tw o k inet ical ly coup ledM orse oscillators. It is found th at the sem iclassical resu lt agrees very w ellw ith the quan tum resu lt as th e quan t iz ing torus is far from resonance and loca-l norma l separatrix.
