Abstract:
In enzym atic reaction w hich w as cata ly zed by GGT, g lutam ine and e thy lam ine we re used as substrates. The resu ltan t consists o f considerab le L thean ine and PGA, m ix ed w ith m ultip le impurities inc lude ch lo rid ion, ethy lam ine, g lu tam ine and g lu tam ate. Through ca tion an ion tandem exchange chrom a tog raphyw ith respective types of resin, L- thean  ine w as effec tive ly separated for further pur ification, accompan ied w ith acquisition of va luable byproduct PGA. Th is study prov ides the ev idence fo r larg e sca le produc tion o fL -theanine w ith recom binant  GGT.
