Abstract:
TheinteractionmechanismsofHypocrellinA(HA)anditsplatinumcomplex(Pt-HA)withbovinehemoglobin(BHb)werecomparedbyultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)absorption,time-resolvedfluorescencespectra,circulardichroism(CD)andinducedcirculardichroism(ICD)spectra,respectively.TheUV-VisresultsrevealedthatbothHAandPt-HAcouldinteractwithBHbandthelatterinteractionwasstrongerthanHA.Inaddition,quenchingmechanismofHAandPt-HAwerebothstaticprocess,whichwereascribedtotheelectrontransfer.Moreover,CDandICDspectrumrevealedthatthemicroenvironmentandconformationofBHbwerechangedafterconjugationwithHAandPt-HA,asthelatteralteredmoreacute.Finally,thecomparisonresultsdemonstratedthattheinteractionofPt-HAandBHbwasstrongerandmorestablethanHA.
