摘要:
中、早更新世人类遗址年代的确定对于人类起源与演化的研究具有重要意义.原地宇生核素26Al和10Be浓度剖面定年法可用来测定百万年尺度河流阶地沉积物的同位素年龄,积极开展该法测年研究有望填补我国早期人类遗址如许家窑、郧县曲远河口等地点同位素地质年代研究的空白.本文简述该法的基本原理并展望其应用前景.
Abstract:
The age dete rm ina tion of the early and m idd le Ple istocene hom in id sites bears important im plications fo r our understand ing of the or ig in and evo lution o f ear ly hum ans. In China, the key hom in id sites such as Xujiayao site and Yunx ianM an site, in m ost cases, lie in a lluv ium / fluv ia l deposits and so far have not been dated by radiom etr ic geochronolog ica lm e thod. W ith sign ificant improvem ent of AMS techn ique, in situ produced cosm ogen ic 26A l and 10 Be depth profilem e thod can be used to da te r iver terrace sedim ents ove rm illion-year tim e sca le. V ia this m ethod, we expect to fulfill the rad iom e tric “ temporal gap”of som e im po rtant hom in id s ites in Ch ina. Th is pape r addresses the basic theory o f the m ethod and v iew s its app lication potentia ls
