摘要:
运用蒙特卡罗方法模拟Y形液晶分子系统的相变,得到从各向同性相至单轴向列相、单轴向列相至双轴向列相的相变,并给出在分子夹角与温度关系平面内的相图.结果表明,双轴向列相的产生与分子的双轴性有关.由蒙特卡罗模拟得到了Landau点(在该点,系统直接从各向同性相进入双轴相)温度与分子结构参数,如夹角、棒长之间的关系,并将其与平均场理论得到的结果进行比较.
Abstract:
Monte C arle sim ulation is carr ied out to study the phase behav io r in Y- shaped liqu id c rystal m o lecular system. The phase transitions from isotropic to un iax ial nem atic and from un iax ial nem atic to b iax ia l nem a tic phase are obta ined, and the phase d iagram s in the plane ofm o lecular interarm ang le and temperature are g iven. The resu lt show s that the occurrence o f b iax ial nem atic phase is c lo se ly re la ted to the mo lecu la r b iax ia lity. The re la tion between Landau po int ( at wh ich system d irectly go es from iso trop ic to biax ia l phase) tem pera ture and mo lecu lar structure param eters such as interarm ang le, arm s. leng th ra tio is ob tained from M onte C arlo s imu lation and is compared w ith tha t from m ean fie ld theory de riv ation.
